fping

Fast ping -- checks if multiple machines are alive.

/Main/Other/sparc/Networking/Utilities/

This program can be used to periodically checking whether multiple machines are alive. It sends them ICMP echo request (ping) packets, and waits for reply. It is faster than pinging 1000s of machines sequentially.

NOTE: This package installs set-uid root binary /usr/bin/fping. I am not responsible for a possible security leaks.
