qmail

qmail Mail Transport Agent

qmail is a small, fast, secure replacement for the SENDMAIL package, which is the program that actually receives, routes, and delivers electronic mail.

The dot-forward and fastforward packages have been added to this distribution for (not 100%) SENDMAIL compatibility. *** Note: Be sure and read the documentation as there are some small *** but very significant differences between SENDMAIL and QMAIL and *** the programs that interact with them.

This package is loosely based on summersoft's rpm package for qmail, see http://summersoft.fay.ar.us/ for more information. This package passes the requirements for binary package distribution as outlined by djb. If you are djb and disagree with this, please let me know.
