ntfstools - transitional package to install ntfsprogs

The Linux-NTFS project (http://linux-ntfs.sf.net/) aims to bring full support for the NTFS filesystem to the Linux operating system.

This dummy package exists only to install the real package, ntfsprogs. You can safely remove ntfstools after the installation.
